Meet the Owner

My name is Rebecca Becker.  I am an avid hiker, outdoor enthusiast, and traveler.  I am excited to introduce my local community to Nature Therapy.  Let me introduce you to a new way of managing stress and connecting with nature.  I am a trained forest therapy guide who is excited to bring these practices to each and every one of you.  Forest Therapy is also known as Shinrin-yoku, meaning "forest bathing" in Japanese.  It is defined as "The practice of spending time in nature to reduce stress, improve mood, and enhance overall well-being."  Read more about my goals on our 'About' page and I am excited to meet you!
